“Here we go again…”

Percy Jackson was a twelve year old boy who keeps getting kicked out of boarding school, but he just wants to have a normal life. Those dreams are pretty much crushed after he finds out that he is the son of the ancient Greek mythology sea god Poseiden.

I loved this book because I like adventure books and I love Greek mythology and this book had both. It had anything from bein in the underworld and talking to Hades to falling off a 21 story building. This is one of those books that I could not put down.

I have been taking a class on using wikis and blogs in the classroom. I teach sixth grade English in Roanoke, VA. When I came across your blog, I found the information extremely useful and thought I would take the opportunity to respond. This summer I made a reading goal to complete the Percy Jackson series. So far, I have read the first two books and am loving the series!!! I have been sharing the reading with my daughters who are in fifth grade. There biggest questions is: Do Percy and Annabeth fall in love? Anyway, Love your blogs! L.Riddle
